I have to begin somewhere and this is absolutely the first text here! A wonderful summer evening in Stockholm and I´m trying to read more information about this course.
Thanks for welcoming! It´s a long way geographically but not online!! Always as near. We have been working with online courses from 1997 in my school (little bit more information in http://www.stockholmcollege.se/) and today all our activities are online. We cooperate much with Finland (my home country!) and more and more internationally. eLearning in Sweden is becoming more popular but still many prejudices (= you can´t learn...) and so on. But we work with passion and will show that this is an excellent way to include people and give them opportunities to learn and educate themselves!! Nice to see how you are working and I hope this course can give benefits for us all.
Hi Tarja Great to read your post. I wonder where in Finland you are from. I worked in Rauma for a few months many years ago when I was a student. I hope to learn about the online learning scene in Scandinavia from you during the course...
Hi Tarja, Great to meet you at this morning's meeting (or this evening for the Down Under majority). Looking forward to working with you more. Cheers, Chris
Hi Tarja, I am also beginning. I was drawn to your beautiful photo - I am such an outdoors girl which is one of the reasons why we live in Te Anau because we are surrounded by most of New Zealands most beautiful walking tracks. I look forward to following your blog. My husband is Swedish and I think I may have signed him up to follow you blog this morning. I was meant to sign me up - but I will try that now!
Welcome to 'Facilitating Online'. Great to have you joining us all the way from Sweden. How much eLearning is done in Sweden?
